David Jones is the Chief Diversity Officer at New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT). Appointed as NJIT’s Chief Diversity Officer in 2022, he cultivates a welcoming environment with campus partners to advance inclusive excellence in the areas of curriculum development, training and learning development, faculty recruitment and engagement, policy, programming, organizational culture, community and student engagement, and grant and sponsorship acquisitions. Prior to joining NJIT, he served as Chief Diversity Officer at William Paterson University and Director of the Paul Robeson Cultural Center at Rutgers University-New Brunswick. He received his doctor of education in organizational leadership from Northeastern University.
